HISC membership is open to any individual, regardless of race, creed, sex, nationality, physical or mental handicaps, military status, etc. Each member (including children) is issued a HISC membership card and number. Membership cards are required at many club functions to sign up for trips, to attend special events and to register for door prizes at meetings. If you lose your card, the membership Manager will replace it for $3. 2. HISC accepts reciprocal memberships from other American Ski Clubs throughout Europe. Anyone holding a valid membership in a qualifying club may sign up for trips after the opening night. HISC members may also sign up for trips with some of these clubs. 3. All members should become familiar with the HISC club rules and policies. The Constitution and Bylaws are available at the Membership table at all club socials. Club members are responsible for their guests at all club functions, including any costs or damages they incur. 4. All members must comply with the rules and regulations governing the operation of the facilities in which HISC functions are held. HISC reserves the right to remove or deny anyone access to any function for improper conduct or misuse of a HISC club card. 5. A parent or guardian must accompany any member under the age of 18 at HISC functions and on HISC trips. Minors are not allowed to consume alcoholic beverages at any HISC function or on club buses. 6. Trip participants must adhere to the directives outlined by the Trip Captain (TC). You are responsible for your behavior and the conduct of your family and/or guest. If you become rowdy or obnoxious to the other trip participants, the TC may remove you from the bus. |
